About
My most sustained work has been in intersex advocacy. I’ve been part of this movement since its early days, focused on the rights of people born with intersex variations — particularly around medical decision-making, bodily autonomy, and the harm done by shame, secrecy, and nonconsensual sexual surgeries on children. I founded the Intersex Society of North America in 1993. You can see its archived website at https://isna.org. Or visit InterACT Advocates for Intersex Youth to learn what’s happening in that world today.
For researchers
The physical originals are held at [The Kinsey Institute Library]. If you are researching the history of the intersex movement and would like access to the physical materials, or to items not yet published here, please contact me.
